Curriculum overview 2024
We would like to share the Normanton State School Whole School Curriculum Overview for our key learning areas, English, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, The Arts and Science for 2024.
This plan has been developed using the Australian Curriculum. We have taken into account the class structure within our school. Teachers have a number of tools to support the teaching of these units, including the Education Queensland C2C (Curriculum to Classroom) resources.
Teachers discuss the units of work when they conduct parent information sessions at the beginning of the year. Parents are welcome to talk with teachers to find out more about unit content and assessment.
